Dyspraxia is a challenge with planning motor movements and executing them successfully. Dyspraxia can occur anywhere in the body, from seeming “clumsy” and bumping into things to affecting speech so that words or sounds can be said in one context and then not produced in the next. Often times, the harder you try to make that movement, the more difficult it becomes.

At Family Tree, we use both Occupational and Speech and Language therapies to assist in a child’s dyspraxia, depending on its level of involvement.

Do you have questions regarding your child’s development? Have you shared your concerns with your doctor and not sure of your next steps? We get it.
Let us help you get started.
